1. Information We Collect

Newsletter signups: When you subscribe to the OBX Cannabis Weekly, we collect your email address. We use Sequenzy to store and send emails.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, and browser type. It does not collect your name, email, or precise location. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting or the cookie consent banner.

Server logs: Like every website, our server (hosted on Vercel) records basic request data — IP address, browser user agent, requested page — for operational purposes. These logs are retained for 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Data

To send you the OBX Cannabis Weekly newsletter (if subscribed)
To improve the site based on aggregate analytics
To respond to inquiries via our contact form

We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.

3. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies:

ga* — Google Analytics cookies for anonymized usage tracking
obx-cookie-consent — remembers your cookie preference so we don't show the banner every visit

No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

Sequenzy — email newsletter delivery. Your email is stored on their servers. See Sequenzy Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics — usage analytics. See Google Privacy Policy.
Vercel — hosting. See Vercel Privacy Policy.

You may:

Request deletion of your data by contacting us
Opt out of GA4 tracking via the cookie consent banner or browser settings

6. Contact

Questions or deletion requests: contact form.

7. Changes
