Newsletter signups: When you subscribe to the OBX Cannabis Weekly, we collect your email address. We use Sequenzy to store and send emails.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, and browser type. It does not collect your name, email, or precise location. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting or the cookie consent banner.

Server logs: Like every website, our server (hosted on Vercel) records basic request data — IP address, browser user agent, requested page — for operational purposes. These logs are retained for 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To improve the site based on aggregate analytics

We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.
