The 3-Step COA Checklist
When you scan that QR code at the counter, don't get overwhelmed by the chemistry. Focus on these three things:
1. The Potency Profile
Look for the cannabinoid list. You'll see THCA, CBD, and Delta-9 THC. If you're buying "legal hemp," the Delta-9 THC must be under 0.3%. If it's 1.0% or higher, it's technically marijuana and illegal to sell in an OBX hemp shop.
2. The Safety Panel (Purity)
